It points out Historical: The first news of temples built in the port of Pampatar during the initial years of
the colonial time, we have them in the Chapels that rose in the Real Houses and in the Castle San Carlos of Borromeo. The current Church, where they are surrendered tribute to the Sacred of the Christ of the
Good Trip, is due to the on interest for Margarita Governor Don José Longart y Cobián, the one which when seeing the increase of the population of Pampatar, being insufficient the
existent Chapel in the Castle San Carlos of Borromeo, to receive so grown quantity of faithful. The Church of Pampatar finished building in 1.748, which

of the Church allowed that guard's of prevention soldiers, they could follow the religious occupations without abandoning its guard and this way to fulfill one
and another duty. The one in charge of the works of the temple, was Don Antonio de la Espada, boss of the Castle San Carlos of Borromeo.
General description: It Plants rectangular of a single ship, a total arch divides the ship of the presbytery. It possesses a rigid facade with two buttresses, a
main access and two lateral. In the left part it possesses a steeple of three bodies.
